The Fall 2024 Friendship Hour, held from 12:30 to 13:30 on September 26 at the Universal Club, concluded successfully.

The event was attended by new international students from the School of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering, as well as faculty members, including the Dean of the Graduate School.

This year’s event was designed to foster interaction and mutual understanding among students from different cultural backgrounds, while also promoting a better understanding of life as an international student in Japan.

The venue was filled with energy as senior students shared their study abroad experiences, and participants exchanged ideas. A highlight of the event was the presentations given by a fourth-year undergraduate student CANDELARIA Caleb Johann Fernandez, and a second-year doctoral student DONG Wanyu, who introduced their cultural experiences and study abroad journeys.

Based on this year’s success, next year’s event aims to offer an even more enriching experience.
