2025 Fall Orientation & International Friendship Hour for New International Students
On September 30, the Orientation and International Friendship Hour for new international students was successfully held at ES Hall and the Common Nexus (ComoNe) Lounge!
During the morning orientation session, students received essential information about campus life, safety, and various support services to help them start their academic journey smoothly. Everyone listened attentively and showed great interest throughout the session.

From 12:00 to 13:00, the International Friendship Hour brought together international students and faculty members for a warm and enjoyable time of exchange.
We were honored to welcome Professor Kobashi, Dean of the School and Graduate School of Engineering, Professor Matsuo, Chairperson of the International Academic Exchange Committee, as well as members of the Student Affairs Division and the International Academic Exchange Office, whose support made the event possible.

Professor Kobashi gave an engaging introduction to Nagoya University, Nagoya City, and the Chubu area, along with valuable advice on how to communicate effectively with academic supervisors and Japanese students.
We hope that this orientation and the International Friendship Hour will mark the beginning of a fruitful and fulfilling student life in Nagoya for all our new members.
