2025 Spring Orientation & International Friendship Hour for New International Students
Today, the Orientation and International Friendship Hour for new international students was successfully held at ES Hall and the Universal Club!
In the morning orientation session, students received essential information on campus life, safety, and various support services to help them begin their academic journey smoothly. Everyone listened attentively and showed great interest.
In the afternoon, the International Friendship Hour brought together international students and faculty members for a fun and heartwarming time of exchange. This time, we were delighted to welcome our long-time friend, Mr. CANDELARIA Caleb Johann Fernandez (4th-year undergraduate student), and a new friend Ms. YANG Xiyuan (2nd-year master’s student), who shared their cultural backgrounds, experiences studying in Japan, and future aspirations.
Participants had the chance to make new friends and build cross-cultural connections.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Professor Kobashi, Dean of the School and Graduate School of Engineering, Professor Matsuo, Chairperson of the International Academic Exchange Committee, and all the members of the Student Affairs Division and the International Academic Exchange Office for joining and supporting today’s events.
We hope this orientation and International Friendship Hour mark the beginning of a fruitful and fulfilling student life in Nagoya for each and every one of our new members.
