The 34th JUACEP Workshop was Successfully Held Today!
The 34th JUACEP Workshop was successfully held today at the TEL Auditorium, EI Building.
This year’s theme, “2024 Research Internship at Polytechnique Montréal”, highlighted the innovative projects conducted by participants during their internships in Montréal, Canada.
The workshop began at 11:00 a.m. with an opening address, followed by engaging presentations from two distinguished speakers:
- Ryosuke UI (M1) presented his research on “Drone Battery Assessment During Flight and Development of the Blimp Structure Design“.
His work, supervised by Prof. G. Beltrame at Polytechnique Montréal, highlighted potential advancements in drone technology and structural engineering.
- Jayant Unde (D2) delivered an insightful presentation on “Tunable Stiffness Orthopedic Brace for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis”.
This project, supervised by Prof. D. Melancon at Polytechnique Montréal, showcased initial steps towards developing medical devices for scoliosis treatment.
The event concluded with a completion ceremony at 11:45 a.m., celebrating the participants’ achievements and the collaboration between Nagoya University and Polytechnique Montréal.
This workshop served as an excellent platform for prospective JUACEP participants and engineering students interested in international research opportunities.
Attendees had the chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights into the program, fostering interest in global academic collaboration.
